Fun trivia fact for fans of David Foubert’s work: his first gig upon returning to the East Coast in late 2024 was working on the set of Happy Gilmore 2. A lifelong golf fan, when the casting call came in with requests for jacket size it seemed too good to be true – but if you watch the champion’s dinner scene of the final film, you’ll see David onscreen alongside Adam Sandler. David had the good fortune of being seated next to Ed Kelce, father to Travis Kelce – for those not in the know, Ed was actually cast BEFORE his son. David had a wonderful time onset those two days alongside so many living golf legends, and it will be a treasured memory of his to canonically join the ranks of the Gold Jackets.
