Here&#8217;s an interview with David at the Daily Record about David&#8217;s take on the character and preparations for the show:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nInstead, the conflict in Shakespeare\u2019s play arises from Henry\u2019s love for Katherine, who is frustrated by the fact that she is not able to give him a male heir.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Henry is drawn to Anne. \u201cThat conflict is something that we don\u2019t see from Henry in \u2018A Man for All Seasons,\u2019 \u201d says Foubert. \u201cIn this play, Henry wears his emotions on his sleeve. He\u2019s very stubborn, until he gets a new idea in his head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think this is a play that will raise discussions,\u201d Foubert says. \u201cWas what Henry did truly for the best for his country, or did he do it for himself?
